Ensuring a robust second century for Trinity’s academic mission is the purpose of the new Trinity Academic Center. The Campaign for Trinity’s Second Century aims to raise a minimum of $30 million to support the development of the Trinity Academic Center as well as to enlarge the pool of student scholarships. Generous benefactors have already contributed more than $21 million in cash and pledges to the Second Century Campaign, the largest campaign in Trinity’s history. Trinity is deeply grateful to each benefactor for so much magnificent support.

With groundbreaking on May 31, Trinity now enters the “major gifts” phase of the campaign to welcome gifts from a broader group of graduates and friends. Capital gifts are different from annual fund gifts in several ways:

  • Your capital gift supports major priorities of Trinity over a period of years, e.g., the building program and scholarships. Capital gifts are usually larger than annual gifts and often pledged to be paid over a period of time, or paid with capital assets such as stocks. Trinity’s current capital campaign is for $30 million with a goal to conclude this campaign in 2015. Trinity’s last capital campaign, the Centennial Campaign, raised $12.2 million in support of the Trinity Center for Women and Girls in Sports.
  • Your Trinity Annual Fund gift, so vitally important as well, supports Trinity’s annual operating budget. Annual fund gifts are most often paid with an immediate cash gift, or sometimes in stocks, but usually not pledged over time. Trinity’s Annual Fund raises approximately $1 million each year to support budget priorities.

Class of 1964

Game on! The Class of 1964 has truly raised the bar for class giving to an all-time Trinity high! This 50th Reunion class includes a large number of generous benefactors whose collective gift to Trinity now approaches $5 million! In addition to many significant individual gifts, an anonymous member of the class and her husband also challenged classmates to raise $250,000 – and they did in record time! Thank you, Class of 1964! Trinity’s future is very bright thanks to your support for the new Trinity Academic Center!
