Trisha Smith, University Librarian
Trisha Smith has a liberal arts background and a Masters in Library and Information Science degree from Catholic University of America. As University Librarian, she believes in the library as a community change agent that forwards social innovation through collective impact. Her interests include contemporary american culture, including art, film, music, and literature. She is an aspiring Wikipedian and enjoys exploring the outdoors with her dog Bentley.
Bridgette Comanda, Public Services Librarian
Bridgette Comanda received her Masters in Library Science from the University of Maryland and spent her undergraduate degree studying Russian history and culture. Currently the Public Services Librarian at Trinity, she is passionate about service, outreach, and information literacy. She’s worked in a variety of library and library related fields, and has a novelty mug for all occasions.
Alexander Salopek, Access Services Librarian
Alexander T Salopek is a graduate of the University of Chicago where he studied philosophy and the University of Illinois where he studied library science. He has been affiliated with University of Chicago Map Library, The Center for Research Libraries, The Government Publishing Office, various law offices and law firms, and the Court. His interests include psychoanalysis, history, and having a colorful, varied sock collection.
Ivy West, Weekend Services Librarian
Ivy Lynn West is a student at Johns Hopkins University, where she studies Digital Curation. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland where she studied E-Government and Library Science, and obtained a Master’s in Business Administration. She has been affiliated with Georgetown University’s Lauinger Library, the Library of Congress, Enoch Pratt Free Library, and various law firms. She enjoys a diversification of learning opportunities, to include history, psychology, culture, and dance.
