Citation Generators and Research Tools Academic Sandbox - Generates academic citations in five common academic citation formats: AMA, APA, Chicago, Harvard, MLA. A useful program to download and always have on your desktop. Citation Machine - Generates citations in MLA, APA, and Chicago format. Turabian coming soon. Easy Bib - Generates multiple citations and lets you save them as a list. Noodletools - Generates citations, one at a time, in either MLA or APA format. Select NoodleBib Express under the "Free Tools" section. Turabian Citation Generator - Generates multiple citations in turabian format and compiles a list. Zotero - A Firefox web browser enhancement; free download. Allows users to collect, manage, and cite research sources with a few clicks of the mouse. APA Online: Electronic Resources - provides brief examples on how to cite electronic resources (e.g. web-based databases or other electronic resources). Updated to the 5th edition of the print publication which is available in the library for reference.

APA Format - and select Bibliography Styles from the column on the left then APA format. Also covers the elements of the APA Style including listing authors, articles, journals, periodicals, newspapers, in-text citation, personal communication, and more. APA Documentation Style - covers major aspects of the APA style including parenthetical citations, reference lists, usage and style, headings, formating your paper, citing one or more authors, and citing electronic resources (including email). ASA Style Guide (American Sociological Association)
ASA Format - provides an excellent overview of the style guide including details on manuscript formats, examples for citing references in text, footnotes, and endotes, examples of references from books, journals, electronic and web-based resources. From California State University Library.

CSE Style Guide (Council of Science Editors, formerly Biology Editors)

MLA Style Guide (Modern Language Association)
