Ask a Librarian

Email reference service is provided for Trinity students, faculty and staff.

Send inquiries to: LibraryReference@trinitydc.edu

Please include:

  1. Your name
  2. Your email address and
  3. Your status (e.g. freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, graduate, faculty or staff) in your question.

These are required elements to any email inquiry we receive. We will then be pleased to help you with your research questions.

Additionally, please let us know what kinds of information you need:

  1. Facts,
  2. Books,
  3. Journal, magazine or newspaper articles?
  4. Websites?

If you do not have an email client configured on your workstation (e.g. you are on a campus computer), please:

  1. Copy or write down the email address LibraryReference@trinitydc.edu
  2. Open a new window in your browser and connect to your email provider (e.g. hotmail, yahoo, AOL).
  3. Include the required information (name, email, status) and the kind of information you need
  4. And send us an email inquiry.

We will respond within 48 hours of receiving your request. Please note: a form will be available shortly to facilitate email reference for all users.
