*If your computer came pre-loaded with Microsoft Windows 7, most likely it is already 64-bit compatible. How do I find out if my Windows computer is 32-bit or 64-bit?
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need approval to obtain SEP?
No, you do not need approval from Technology Services to obtain SEP. As long as you are an active full-time faculty or staff member, and have a Trinity login, you are eligible for SEP.
Q: If I leave Trinity, may I continue to use SEP on my home/personal computer?
The right to use SEP on, and obtain content updates for, the home-use computer is contingent on continued employment with Trinity. SEP must be removed (or standard license purchased) upon change in employment status with Trinity.
Q: What if I already have existing antivirus software on my home/personal computer?
Technology Services recommends uninstalling existing antivirus software prior to installing SEP. Failure to remove existing antivirus may result in system instability.
Q: Can I obtain support for this software?
No, support is not included with home-use licenses.
Q: Can I install SEP on more than one home/personal computer?
No, SEP may only be installed on one home/personal computer.
