Rhetoric, Writing and Revision

Facilitator: Sarah Wilson, Director of Academic Administration

This class will provide a brief overview of the history of rhetoric as well as practical tips for incorporating rhetorical concepts into business, personal and public writing.

By the end of the session, participants will:

  • Understand the relationship between rhetoric and writing
  • Gather techniques for writing wtih genre, audience and purpose in mind; and
  • Apply rhetorical principles to drafting and revision

Participants should bring a pen and some paper.
