Adjunct for Anatomy and Physiology

 
 

Trinity Washington University is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach Anatomy and Physiology I (4 credits) in Fall, 2016.  This is the first of the two part Anatomy and Physiology sequence for students intending to major in pre-health professions.  The class will meet Monday and Wednesday from 9:00 am to 10:15 and Thursdays for lab from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Anatomy and Physiology, or related field and be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills and knowledge in the field. Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. and with teaching experience at the college level. Knowledge of best teaching practices is required. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate excellence with engaged and active learning practices.

Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations and/or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references will be needed if the candidate is invited to campus for an interview.  Finalists will be invited to campus for an interview and teaching demonstration.
