Trinity (Washington) University is a NCAA Division III member which competes independently. Trinity invites applications and nominations for the part-time position of Head Softball Coach. A successful coach will work within NCAA, conference and departmental guidelines plan and organize practices, conduct regional recruitment of student-athletes. Candidates must have demonstrated success in coaching softball at the collegiate or high school level, and/or in a club setting. Excellent communication skills are also required.
Coaching responsibilities include all phases of the women’s softball program including bolstering on-campus interest, recruitment of prospective student-athletes, academic success of student-athletes, practice and meet preparation and strategy, supervision of part-time assistant coaches, scheduling, attending meetings with alumni and other public relations events.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree with demonstrated successful coaching experience. Excellent communication skills are also required. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
