Adjunct Faculty – Sociology and Critical Reading

 
 

Trinity Washington University Department of Sociology invites applications for adjunct faculty for the Fall, 2014 semester.

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master’s degree in Sociology, or a related discipline, from an accredited institution, and be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills.

The ideal candidate would be available to teach both a sociology course as well as a critical reading seminar.

Classes meet twice a week for one hour and fifteen minutes per session.

The two courses are SOCY 100 and CRES 101 (freshman critical reading seminar)

Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations, or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references will be needed if invited to campus for an interview.
