Trinity Washington University’s College of Arts and Sciences invites applications for adjunct instructors for the 2013 Spring semester to teach introductory French (FREN 101 and FREN 102). All appointments require at minimum a completed Master’s degree in French. The successful candidate(s) will have a proven record of outstanding teaching in the field at the undergraduate level.
A brief description of the position is as follows:
FREN 101, Elementary French I, integrates the skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing at the elementary level. The course emphasizes oral communication through paired and group activities and also integrates cultural information. (3 credits; the class meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 to 10:15 a.m.)
FREN 102, Elementary French II, continues to integrate the skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing acquired in FREN 101. (3 credits; the course meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m.).
