Trinity Washington University is currently accepting applications for the position of Database Manager to serve in the Development Office. The Database Manager is responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the database system with regard to alumnae and alumni records, annual fund gift entry and tracking campaign gifts and pledges.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to daily data entry, gift entry, data cleanup, production of routine to complex, customized data reports and preparation of regular Development Trend Reports. Knowledge of PowerCampus database a plus. Prospect research of individuals and foundations also fall within the scope of the position. Working with the Development staff, this person will create donor profiles for internal and external uses.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter with high energy, initiative and fastidious attention to detail. The position requires at least five years of progressively responsible experience in database and financial reporting with strong preference for higher education and/or development/fundraising experience. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and be comfortable with learning new technologies as may be needed.
