Trinity Washington University’s College of Arts and Sciences invites applications for adjunct instructors for the 2013 Fall semester to teach in our writing program, particularly at the pre-foundational level in ENGL 105 and ENGL 105S. All appointments require at minimum a completed Master’s degree in English. Successful candidates will have a proven record of outstanding teaching in the field at the undergraduate level.
A brief description of the position is as follows:
ENGL 105(S), Introduction to College Writing (with Supplemental Instruction), is a 3- or 4-credit course that is designed to increase fluency in college-level written communication with an emphasis on organizational skills and language structure. Students have the opportunity to develop their abilities to analyze and critique texts in order to write about them.
