Trinity’s Department of Development is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and diplomatic person to fill a key donor identification and cultivation position. The Trinity Development Department is engaged in a Capital Campaign to raise $30 million for the Trinity Academic Center. The Department also conducts the Annual Fund Drive, Planned Giving Program, Special Donor Events and Scholarship Stewardship. This front-line position interacts with the public-at-large, with Trinity donors and benefactors and will have a positive and tangible impact on Trinity as a work place and the students it serves.
The Donor Liaison/Researcher has daily contact with current and possible donors and works directly with the Vice President of Development to assist with all facets of the development effort from donor research to the production of appeals to gift acknowledgement and stewardship.
This position is responsible for overseeing the acceptance of correspondence and the disposition of gift processing, record preparation and distribution, mail merge functions, gift entry, matching gift processing, donor record maintenance and database support for Development. Additional duties include managing donor-related correspondence, including but not limited to acknowledgement letters, routine correspondence and scholarship stewardship. The maintenance of the Development Department’s web pages and social media sites are integral to the front-line nature of this position.
This position will select, schedule and supervise the Department’s student workers and may also be requested to provide services to other areas of Institutional Advancement.
A Bachelors Degree is required, a Masters Degree is preferred. Individuals with prior experience and a successful track record in the cultivation of donors, the planning and execution of events and website competence in a multi-faceted development office will be given preference.
