Visiting Instructor of Psychology
Trinity Washington University invites applications for a one-semester appointment to the fulltime position of Instructor of Psychology for Fall 2013. The appointment is non-renewable. The successful candidate will be prepared to teach courses in areas such as introductory psychology, research methods, and/or developmental psychology.
Responsibilities: In addition to his or her teaching responsibilities, the candidate will hold office hours, contribute to departmental meetings and initiatives, and perform other duties as assigned in support of Trinity’s academic programming in psychology.
Qualifications: To serve Trinity Washington University’s mission of teaching excellence, the successful candidate will bring a strong focus on innovational pedagogy and a proven record of outstanding teaching. Education Requirement: The appointment requires at minimum a completed Master’s degree in psychology and teaching experience at the college level.
Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations, or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references will be needed from candidates invited to campus for an interview.
