Adjunct Professor — Women’s Studies
Trinity Washington University’s College of Arts and Sciences has an immediate opening for an adjunct instructor for the 2013 Spring semester in Women’s Studies. All appointments require at minimum a completed Master’s degree in Gender & Women’s Studies or a related field. The successful candidate will have a proven record of outstanding teaching in the field at the undergraduate level.
A brief description of the course:
WST 369 “Women and Community Change” is a 3 credit course that explores the roles of women in creating social change at community, national, and global levels. The course is designed to examine women’s impact on social, political, and cultural changes, including movements for economic justice, race relations, sexual identity, peace, gender equality, public health, and social welfare. The class meets Mondays and Wednesdays, noon to 1:15.
