Trinity Washington University is currently accepting applications for the position of Data Specialist to serve in the Development Office. The Data Specialist is responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the database system with regard to alumnae and alumni records and gift entry.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, data entry, gift entry, data cleanup, and producing routine and complex, customized data reports. Knowledge of PowerCampus database a plus. Some prospect research of individuals and foundations will also fall within the scope of the position.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter with high energy, initiative and fastidious attention to detail. The position requires at least two years of progressively responsible experience in database work with strong preference for higher education and/or development/fundraising experience. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and be comfortable with learning new technologies as may be needed. A bachelor’s degree is required.
