Trinity, a comprehensive university in the nation’s capitol, seeks a dynamic educator prepared to assist in the delivery of courses for the School of Education (EDU), which offers graduate-level programming in a range of areas including Counseling, Educational Administration, Curriculum and Instruction, and Teacher Education. This full-time position is available for Spring 2013 and involves teaching 4 courses for the semester. This position will specifically work with Early Childhood Education candidates. This is a non-tenure track position.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a master’s in doctorate in education /early childhood emphasis, with a doctorate preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of teaching in a School of Education or related collegiate unit at the graduate level. Because the position will involve advising and interacting with students in teacher education, the candidate should also be certified to teach or eligible to obtain such certification. The ideal applicant will have experience with Moodle, Trinity’s online learning management system.
The position also involves advising students in Trinity’s Early Childhood and Elementary Education majors.
