Trinity Washington University invites applications for adjunct faculty for the Fall, 2012 semester for courses in International Affairs.
QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master’s degree or be a Ph.D. candidate in International Affairs or Political Science, from an accredited institution, and be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills.
Classes for Contemporary Topics [a course which examines special topics in international affairs and this semester will focus on the process of democratization] meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 pm-2:45 pm and classes for Introduction to International Affairs [a course which introduces students to the interdisciplinary field of international affairs through a format that both imparts knowledge on compelling contemporary issues, and assists students to acquire and improve research, writing, and presentation skills that contribute to successful, upper-level coursework] will meet on Mondays- Wednesdays at 1:30 – 2:45.
Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations, or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references will be needed if invited to campus for an interview.
