Campaign Associate

Trinity in Washington seeks several fund raising associates to join a successful development team now in the early phase of a $30 million capital campaign.  Trinity seeks high-energy development officers with excellent communication skills to work with high-value individual, corporate and foundation benefactors.

Trinity’s Second Century Campaign includes, as its signature priority, the creation of the Trinity Academic Center.  The concept design for this magnificent new facility envisions a modern classroom-plus-laboratory building with elegant spaces for student gathering and study, computer labs, science and health labs, classrooms of many different configurations, a modern auditorium and atrium for events.  Other campaign priorities include scholarships and endowment.

Successful candidates will have already-established track records of success working on capital campaigns at other universities, colleges or elite private schools.  Because this campaign includes health professions labs, experience in healthcare or hospital fund raising will also be considered.  Trinity’s campaign associates will have caseloads of prospects who require careful, sophisticated cultivation to engage their interests in Trinity’s priorities.  The specialists will work closely with prospects, trustees, other volunteers and Trinity’s leadership to prepare effective solicitation strategies.

Trinity is seeking associates who have specific expertise in one or several of these areas:  major donor prospect research and management; planned giving; corporate sponsorships or partnerships; foundation relationship development; proposal development; federal relations.

Excellent writing skills as well as persuasive oral communication skills are essential.  The ability to travel, to work as part of a cross-functional team, and to participate with high-value volunteers and prospects with ultimate discretion and confidentiality are also essential.

Send letters of application summarizing prior campaign accomplishments along with a complete curriculum vitae to: trinityjobs@trinitydc.edu
