Trinity’s Office of Development is seeking a highly motivated, organized, dynamic and energetic individual to serve as Donor Liaison. The Development Office is engaged in a capital campaign to raise $30 million for the Trinity Academic Center. The office also conducts the Trinity Annual Fund, which generates more than $1 million. The Development Office operates within the framework of the Advancement Team (Alumnae Affairs, Development and Public Relations). This is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves position that makes a positive and tangible impact on Trinity and the students it serves.
The Donor Liaison has daily contact with current and potential donors, and works directly with the Director of the Trinity Annual Fund and the Associate Vice President for Development to assist with all facets of development work, from production of appeals to the recording and processing of gifts, as well as gift acknowledgment and stewardship.
The Donor Liaison is responsible for incoming mail and gift processing, creation and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets, mail merge functions, gift entry, matching gift processing, donor record maintenance and database support for Development. Additional duties include writing and managing donor-related correspondence, including but not limited to acknowledgment letters, routine correspondence and scholarship stewardship. This position includes maintenance of Development Office web pages, as well as preparation and delivery of development email communications to alumnae and friends. The Donor Liaison schedules and supervises student workers, and may also provide assistance to other departments within the Advancement team as necessary.
A bachelor’s degree is required. Experience in development and fundraising is strongly preferred. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 2007 is required. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and superior writing and verbal communications skills are a must, along with a keen ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, be very organized and meet deadlines.
