The successful candidate will teach three or four courses a semester of Spanish language courses, ranging from introductory to native speaker level, in Trinity’s women’s college, the College of Arts and Sciences. The position also entails working with deans and other administrators to recruit, hire and help to assess part-time language and faculty in Spanish, French, and Arabic.
In addition to being dedicated and enthusiastic about teaching, applicants must have the ability to integrate and infuse technology into classroom teaching and be open to nontraditional, creative teaching strategies. The position requires a minimum of two years teaching experience at the collegiate level and a minimal credential of an MA in Spanish or a related field with at least 18 graduate credits in Spanish or Spanish instruction.
