Trinity Washington University is expanding the MA in International Security Studies Program and is seeking adjunct professors to teach courses in the following areas: American Security Interests in Post September 11 World, China and International Security, Comparative Perspectives in International Security, Cyberterrorism, Homeland and International Security, Insurgency and Counterinsurgency, Intelligence and Counterintelligence, International Law and Global Security, Middle Eastern Studies, Politics, Research Methods, Security Threats and Crises in Africa, Resource Politics and International Security, Security in Politics in South Asia, United Nations and International Security and Weapons of Mass Destruction and International Security.
Successful candidates should have earned at least a Master’s degree in ISS or a related discipline, from an accredited institution, and be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills. Those candidates that have obtained 3 or more years working in the field (think tanks, government service, etc.) will also receive consideration.
Official transcripts for all degrees earned, sample course syllabi, course evaluations, or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, and contact information for three professional references will be needed if invited to campus for an interview.
