Trinity Washington University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Human Relations within the School of Professional Studies (SPS). The Human Relations Program combines the study of Psychology and Sociology to prepare students who seek graduate study or careers in the human services fields, including counseling, social work, public relations and human resources.
The successful candidate will be responsible to oversee the SPS Human Relations program, including course scheduling, curriculum development and adjunct faculty supervision. This faculty member will also teach three courses per semester; advise major students; assess and report on the quality and rigor of student learning; and establish professional connections and partnerships in the region to facilitate student internships and career opportunities in related fields.
Candidates must have an earned doctorate in a relevant field, preferably Psychology or Sociology, along with prior teaching experience. A track record of scholarly and professional achievement will be a great advantage.
This is a full-time 12-month non-tenure track position.
