Insurance Fees and Options for BGS, EDU, NHP and SPS
Trinity Washington University is pleased to offer our students and their families Student Insurance Plan Options for the 2016-2017 Academic Year including access to comprehensive health care at an affordable premium, access to preferred providers for less out of pocket and online features to help you better manage your benefits. All students must have health insurance while they attend Trinity Washington University.
Students enrolled in Business and Graduate Studies (BGS); School of Education (EDU); School of Nursing and Health Professions (non-CAS programs) and School of Professional Studies (SPS) are invited to enroll in the Trinity Washington University student health insurance plan offered by Cigna. The premium of $1,594 is charged through our Program Manager A.J. Flood. The enrollment deadline is Friday, September 2nd, 2016. Click here to complete the Enrollment Form.
This plan allows for dependents, at the coverage cost of $1,594 for each additional dependent. This plan coverage is from 8/01/2016 through 7/31/2017 and allows you to utilize the Health and Wellness Center as your primary care provider while you are attending Trinity. The Health and Wellness Center is staffed with two Nurse Practitioners and a mental health Counselor. Services offered include, but are not limited to: sick visits, STD screening, pregnancy tests, gynecological examinations, and physical exams. The Counselor helps students manage their stress, anxiety, depression, and a variety of other concerns. Lab work can be performed and limited prescriptions ordered by health center staff can be filled at the health center.
