Dean Janet Stocks, Ph.D.

Associate Dean Lynn Johnson

DCF 1.0Associate Dean Johnson serves as the School of Education’s NCATE coordinator and provides support to the Counseling, Educational Administration, and Educating for Change programs.  She also serves as Academic Advisor to all Center for Inspired Teaching and New Leaders for New Schools candidates and to secondary English and secondary Social Studies candidates.

Associate Dean Gail Viamonte

viamonte-gail-webDr. Viamonte directs all Teacher Education programs in the School of Education.  She oversees the administration of the Comprehensive Exam and the Internship Readiness Assessment and works with candidates to secure school placements for student teaching.

Dr. Gladys Williams, Program Director, Educational Administration

williamsglDr. Williams directs Trinity’s Educational Administration program from the perspective of 35 years as a professional educator herself.  She works to provide aspiring school administrators with the real-world, hands-on experience they will need to support the education of all children.

Teresa Gaines, Administrative Assistant

Gaines, TeresaMs. Gaines provides support for many aspects of the programs in the School of Education.  She is very familiar with School of Education policies and procedures and is often a good first-stop for students with questions.

Renetta Davis, Jumpstart Site Manager

Davis, RenettaMs. Davis recruits, trains and oversees the work of Trinity students interested in participating in Jumpstart, an early education organization that serves preschool children in low-income neighborhoods.

Continuing Education

Erin McHenry, Director of Continuing Education

DCF 1.0Erin McHenry is responsible for all academic, staffing and student services for Continuing Education courses.  Ms. McHenry supports the department and oversees academic appeals for Continuing Education.

Diane Miranda, Assistant Director of Continuing Education

MirandaDiane Miranda develops the Continuing Education course schedule each semester.  Ms. Miranda manages the curriculum and hires the faculty for the courses as well as maintains the professional development of the instructors.

Katie Omenitsch, Program Coordinator, Online Initiatives

Omenitsch, KatieKatie Omenitsch coordinates the content and staffing for online courses; she leads the department’s online programming initiatives.  Ms. Omenitsch also administers partnerships with outside organizations who seek continuing education for private groups.

Kristina Mahaffy, Student Services Specialist

Kristina_Mahaffy_Continuing_education_600_2Kristina Mahaffy supports Continuing Education students throughout all stages of their participation in our courses from the admission, registration, first day of class through the completion of their courses and grade dispersement.  Ms. Mahaffy assists our in person participants as well as students needing online assistance.
