For Students: Getting Started
If you are a current student with a cognitive, psychological and/or physical disability, Disability Support Services (DSS) is here to ensure that you receive support services that will equalize your access to course material and campus activities.
In contrast to high school, where students with disabilities are entitled to certain services, in college, you must become approved or eligible for services based on the guidelines set forth by your college/university (Read “Disability and Higher Education FAQs” for more general information). At Trinity, this means that you must first register with DSS before you can request support services and accommodations.

DSS Registration Procedures
In order to be recognized by Trinity Washington University as a student with a disability and request support services/accommodations, you are required to register with the Disability Support Services (DSS) office. This can take place once you have enrolled for the upcoming semester. If you are returning to Trinity for another Trinity degree or if you are returning after two or more semesters of non-enrollment, you must re-register with DSS. DSS registration is a two step process:
