WHF Foundation presents Trinity’s SPS with a $1000 Grant to Fund Scholarship
For nine years, WHF Foundation has partnered with Trinity Washington University by providing grants to fund a scholarship for a non-traditional student in the School of Professional Studies (SPS). Friday, July 11, 2014, WHF Foundation President Mary Martha Fortney presented a $1000 grant to Trinity to provide a scholarship for a non-traditional SPS student who has shown academic promise.
Mary Martha and Kenneth Swab, WHF Treasurer came to Trinity and met with Kathleen Zeifang, Vice President for Development to present the $1000 grant. Kathleen was joined by Meghan Howard, Director of Financial Aid, Office of Enrollment Services and Kenya Tyson, Associate Dean, School of Professional Studies.
Typically, the Foundation invites the scholarship recipient, chosen by Trinity, to be a guest at WHF’s Annual Public Policy Luncheon. During the luncheon the student is recognized for her achievements.
Trinity is grateful for its relationship with WHF and for their commitment to join Trinity in our mission to educate, empower and inspire students to discover their strength!
