Commencement | May 2014: Rain Plan

Commencement Rain Plan

We will make every effort to conduct Commencement on the front lawn in front of the Library, Trinity’s traditional site for Commencement. However, in a hard rain, or if lightning occurs, or other very bad weather, we will need to move the ceremony indoors to the Trinity Center for Women and Girls in Sports.

Unfortunately, we will be unable to take class photos if the rain plan is implemented.

If it is raining on Commencement morning, please call Trinity’s weather hotline 202-884-9009 to find out whether we are implementing our rain plan below.

Two Ceremonies
In the event of rain, we will conduct two Commencement ceremonies at the Trinity Center as follows:

Ceremony 1: College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and School of Nursing and Health Professions (NHP): 4:00 p.m. (Students Report at 3:00 p.m.). CAS and NHP degrees will be conferred in a ceremony beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the Trinity Center.
