Commencement 2011
The sun shone warmly on the more than 250 graduates at Trinity’s 108th Commencement on Sunday, May 22. About 3,500 family members and friends gathered on the lawn in front of the Sr. Helen Sheehan Library for Trinity’s Commencement ceremony.

Commencement speaker Dr. Johnnetta Cole, director of the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art, reflected on the accomplishment that a Trinity degree represents, and encouraged the graduates to support the success of others. She told graduates that “a leader must respect the diversity of human kind.”
President Patricia McGuire reminded the graduates that “Trinity expects all of us, her graduates, to hear the call to stand for justice wherever and whenever the human community needs our affirming response.”
Congratulations to the Gold Class of 2011!
