Spring Commencement 2013Congratulations to all our graduates! Gray skies did not dampen the spirits of the Blue Class of 2013 as more than 300 graduates and more than 2,500 guests celebrated Trinity’s 110th Commencement on Saturday, May 18. Commencement speaker Maria Gomez, founder and CEO of Mary’s Center, encouraged graduates to use their Trinity degrees to make positive contributions to their workplaces, their communities, and their families. She reflected on her own journey, immigrating from Columbia at age 13, earning a college degree in nursing and a master’s degree, pursuing a career in public health, and establishing Mary’s Center to meet the health care needs of women and their families in D.C.
