New Student Orientation

8:30am Continental Breakfast and Conversation with New Classmates (Social Hall)
     
9:15am Welcome from the Deans (Social Hall)

10:00 am Amazing Race Activity (Students will become familiar various offices and people on campus)

11:15 am   Mini Parade of Disciplines (Social Hall)

Students will meet with professors representing the humanities, social sciences and the sciences and learn about the liberal arts and their expression in the general education curriculum

Students will meet learning community faculty/advisors and begin the advising relationship

Pre-nursing:  Breakout orientation with Maryann Valcourt
Pre-education:  Breakout orientation with Veronica Gonzalez

12:00 pm Lunch with Trinity student sisters and members of the faculty (Alumnae Hall)

1:00 pm ALL STUDENTS – Academic role plays: Trinity Woman as Scholar (Dr. Forbes-Berthoud) (Social Hall), with focus on:

  • Diversity in the classroom
  • Free and civil exchange of ideas
  • Upholding the honor code
  • Constructive interaction with others
  • Learning to be a leader

2:00pm-5:00pm

  • Payment arrangements (O’Connor)
  • Registration ( Main 238 Marilly)
