Dear Trinity Senior:

The Trinity community is preparing to formally welcome the Green Class of 2014 to senior status during Cap and Gown Weekend, September 28-29, 2013. Please note that only seniors in good standing are eligible to participate in the Cap and Gown Ceremony. Students on probation will be considered ineligible. If you are uncertain of your academic status or eligibility to participate, please contact Enrollment Services.

On Saturday, September 28, 2013, Cap and Gown Convocation will begin at 5 p.m. in the Trinity Center. Robing for the seniors will take place at 4:30 p.m. in the Trinity Center. Families and friends are invited to attend Convocation. The President’s Reception will immediately follow Convocation in the Trinity Center.

Sunday’s activities begin with Cap and Gown Mass at 10 a.m. in Notre Dame Chapel. Seniors will robe at 9:15 a.m. in O’Connor Auditorium. A brunch for seniors, their families, their guests and faculty will be served in Alumnae Hall immediately after the Mass; brunch tickets for guests are $10 per person. The traditional Courtyard Sing begins at 12:30 p.m. and each class will gather on a designated side of Seymour Court and sing songs to the senior class. Families and friends are invited to enjoy the celebration.

Please RSVP online for Cap and Gown Convocation, the President’s Reception, Sunday mass and brunch by Wednesday, September 25, 2013. The cost of brunch for guests is $10 per person and payment should be brought to the Dean of Student Services Office, Main 223, by Wednesday, September 25.

You must purchase a cap, gown and tassel from the Trinity Bookstore for $29.98. Caps and gowns will be available for purchase beginning Tuesday, September 10, at 12:00 pm.  After that date you may make your purchase during regular bookstore hours through Saturday, September 28, 2013.
