Food & Friends Service Project

The Office of Campus Housing is sponsoring a food drive for an important and vital local community resource called Food & Friends from November 11th-November 23rd. The collection bins will be located in the lobby of each residence hall.
For each item you donate, you will receive 1 PAW Point. All you need to do is get someone to snap a picture of you (and your friends) with your donated item next to the donation bin in your hall. Please list your name and the names of the others in the photo when you send it in. You can email it to email@example.com.
Participants in the card making/donation delivery event on Saturday, November 23rd will receive 5 additional PAW Points.
About Food & Friends
The mission of Food & Friends is to foster a community caring for men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-challenging illnesses by preparing and delivering specialized meals and groceries in conjunction with nutrition counseling.Food & Friends serves over 1 million meals a year to more than 2,800 individuals and families.Each meal is specially designed by a team of dietitians and professional chefs to meet the individual demands of our clients’ illnesses and medical treatments.
