The Trinity Tigers lost a tough game Wednesday night falling to Southern VA University 70-57. The Tigers were down 16 at halftime but fought back in the last ten minutes of the game but unfortunately ran out of time. The Tigers outshot the SVU in the second half by 3 points. Senior forward Stefonie Kelly had a season high 27 points and 14 rebounds, recording her first double double of the season. Junior guard Thamar Polynice followed with 15 points and 9 steals. The Tigers hit the road Friday to take on the Patriots from Valley Forge. The Tigers are now 13-8 on the season.
