Tigers Win….

September 30, 2008 - The Trinity Tigers Volleyball team won their second game of the season beating Washington Bible College in 4 games; 25-14, 25-17, 9-25, 29-27. Stephanie McRae led the Tigers with 17 digs, 4 spikes adn 1 block, Gillian Bryant had 10 digs and 3 spikes and Kimberyl Burr had 9 digs, 12 spikes and 2 blocks. The Tigers next home game is Tuesday October 7th at 6:00 pm where they will take on Washington Bible College once again. Continue reading

Volleyball Wins

September 19, 2008 - The Trinity Tigers Volleyball team won their first game on Friday beating Rosemont College in four games; 25-10, 25-27, 25-22, 25-20. Kristy Baugher led the team with 11 digs, followed by Kimberly Burr who had 7. Gillian Bryant and Stephanie McRae both had outstanding games. Hemsley Scores Hat-Trick

September 16, 2008 - Kiauna Hemsley scored her first hat-trick (3 goals) against Christendom College despite a 5-3 loss. the Tigers were down 5-0 at half but fought hard in the second half mounting a comback but unfortunately ran out of time. Continue reading

Tigers Volleyball Tournament

September 13, 2008 - The Trinity Tigers Volleyball spend the weekend competing in Randolph Macon Tournament. The Tigers had tough matches against Randolph Macon, NC Wesleyan, St. Mary’s of MD and Mary Washington. Kimberly Burr, Gillian Bryant and Stephanie McRae played well throughout the weekend. September 12, 2008 - Despite losing their first home game 4-1 against the Lady Knights of Southern Virginia University, the Tigers played an outstanding game. Freshman Macee Wray scored her first goal of the season assisted by Allison Evans. Goalie Cristina Martinez was the standout, making 35 saves having faced 40 shots. The Tigers are in action again on Friday at home against Gallaudet University. Game time is 4:30 pm. Continue reading

Tigers Win….

September 12, 2008 - The Trinity Tigers Soccer team recorded their first win Friday afternoon winning 6-0 against Gallaudet University. Macee Wray and Kiauna Hemsley put the Tigers up 2-0 at halftime. Danielle Pettis added two goals in the second half, Kiauna Hemsley tapped in another goal and Brenda Martinez scored her first goal of the season off a penalty kick. Cristina Martinez had 6 saves in goal. The Tigers are in action again on Tuesday, at home against Christendom College. Game time is 5:00 pm. Continue reading

Tigers Volleyball Drops Home Opener

TIGERS SOCCER

September 2, 2008 - The Trinity Tigers Soccer team lost their first game of the season 2-0 to the lady Vixens of Sweet Briar College. Cristina Martinez had an outstanding day in goal making 18 saves, facing 31 shots on goal. The next game for the Tigers is Saturday September 6th at Wilson College. The first home game will be Wednesday September 10th vs. Southern Virginia University at 4:00 pm. Continue reading
