Tigers Lacrosse and Tennis….

Tuesday April 20th

The Trinity Tigers Lacrosse and Tennis teams travelled to Chambersburg, PA to face Wilson College Tuesday afternoon.    The Tigers tennis team unfortunately fell short and finished their season 2-9.   Karita Richardson won her singles match 6-3, 6-4.  The lacrosse team also fell short Tuesday losing 9-7.  Freshman, Bianca Sullivan scored 3 goals, Stefonie Kelly added 2 and Brenda Martinez and Rebeka Bautista both netted a goal a piece.  In goal, Bree Martin had 8 saves on the day.  The Tigers finished the season 1-9.


Tigers Lacrosse Wins….

Thursday March 25th


The Trinity Tigers Lacrosse team won their first game Wednesday afternoon beating Wilson College 9-7.  The Tigers came out on fire and scored three goals in the first 8 minutes of the game, but Wilson came fighting back and it was all level at half 5-5.   With 14 minutes remaining in the second half Wilson had a one goal lead at 6-7 but the Tigers wouldn’t give up and scored the next 3 goals for the victory.

Rebecka Bautista and Bianca Sullivan both had three goals and one assist.  Brenda Martinez followed with two goals and one assist and Stephanie Satchell netted in one goal for the Tigers.  In goal, Bree Martin had 4 saves.  The Tigers are in action again on Saturday at Waynesburg University.

The Trinity Tigers lacrosse team lost a tough game Wednesday afternoon falling to Cedar Crest College.   Rebeka Bautista, Charity Blackwell and Stephanie Satchell all netted in a goal a piece.   In goal for the Tigers, Bree Martin had 10 saves.  The Tigers are in action again on Monday March 22nd as the travel to Howard Community College, game time is 3:30 pm.

The Trinity Tigers lacrosse struck first on Saturday afternoon scoring two quick goals, but were unable to come away with the win losing to Hollins University 8-14.  The Tigers scored in the first 40 seconds of the game, adding another one two minutes later for a 2-0 lead.   Hollins answered and took an 8-3 lead into halftime.   Hollins outscored the Tigers 6-5 in the second half to come away with the win.

Freshman, Bianca Sullivan lead the Tigers with 4 goals.  Brenda Martinez scored 2 goals and 2 assists and both Rebeka Bautista and Stefonie Kelly netted a goal a piece.  In goal for the Tigers, Bree Martin had 13 saves.  The Tigers are in action on Monday afternoon at home as the take on Howard University, game time is 3:30 pm
