Application deadlines: We accept applications on a rolling admissions basis and place priority consideration for applications received by February 1 for the fall semester and November 1 for the spring semester. It is always best to plan ahead!
1) Complete and submit your application and personal statement – All Trinity applications are FREE and you can apply online! Your personal statement should address why you are seeking your degree of interest along with relevant experience and skills to be successful in a graduate level program. Simply complete the form online, then mail us the rest of your application materials. Start the Online Application now!
2) Submit all official transcripts from all institutions you have attended. This includes a high school transcript or passing GED test score and diploma along with transcripts from any other college or university you may have enrolled in classes. Additional supplemental materials to make your application competitive. While the following materials are not required as part of our official application process, submitting additional information will help us better understand your interest and desire to pursue your degree at Trinity.
- Submit your resume. Your resume should demonstrate relevant and related work or volunteer experience to the degree you are seeking to enroll in.
- Two professional recommendations – we recommend a professional and academic reference, if possible. Recommendations from friends, family members or colleagues will not be considered. Download our recommendation form.

Non-Degree Applicants: Individuals may complete up to 6 credits of coursework without seeking a Trinity degree. If you are interested in applying as a non-degree student, please contact the Office of Admissions at email@example.com or 202-884-9400 to request a non-degree application.
Readmission: Former Trinity students must request readmission to Trinity if the student was dismissed or if more than one year has elapsed since the graduate student successfully completed a semester at Trinity. U.S. citizens who have studied at foreign institutions: Applicants who are U.S. citizens who have obtained high school or college/university credit from an institution outside of the United States must submit official transcripts for an evaluation by one of the following accredited agencies: World Education Services (www.wes.org), Josef Silny (http://www.jsilny.com/) or Educational Credential Evaluators (http://www.ece.org).
