Philosophy explores the ideas, values, principles, and arguments through which we shape our lives and our learning. By studying a range of philosophies from Socrates and Plato through twentieth century existentialism, students develop the discipline and motivation to confront problems for which there are no easy answers.
Philosophy students also explore the issues of business ethics and bioethics that are of importance in today’s changing economy and medicine.
Students study philosophy at Trinity as a minor (with individualized minors in bioethics or environmental ethics available at the discretion of the program chair), or as elective courses.

One of the best ways to learn more about Trinity is to visit in person. Call 800-492-6882 to schedule a campus tour and learn more about Trinity.
