International Affairs

Where better to study international affairs than in Washington, DC? The nation’s capital is perhaps the most international city in the country, and the heart of US foreign relations. International affairs students learn how our society, economy, and politics operate on a global level. Often, our relations with other countries are beneficial, creating trade opportunities and a sharing of culture. Sometimes, the relations are more troubling, as in the cases of human trafficking and war.

Trinity’s international affairs program is truly multidisciplinary. Students are guided by professors from many disciplines, including business, communication, economics, gender studies, history, political science, and sociology—each providing a fresh angle on important international issues. Beyond the classroom, students have the benefit of the human and institutional resources in one of the world’s leading international cities.

Students study international affairs at Trinity as a major, minor, or elective courses.
