History

Those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it. Much more than learning dates, history can teach us how to achieve our own goals. Studying great leaders (and not-so-great ones) we learn how their decisions lead to triumph or ruin. On a larger level, we can see what events and decisions have historically lead countries to peace—or to war—and be able to see similar patterns in current events. History is a rich library of winning and failed strategies for success at all levels, and knowledge of these strategies is a powerful tool for your own achievement.

Trinity students study history as a major, minor, or as core or elected courses.
