New Insights about World Affairs for Trinity Students

New Course

Since 9/11/01-the date of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon-the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC) has become more intensely involved in global issues and world affairs. Dr. Lenora Peters Gant, IC Scholar-in-residence, is teaching a new course during Fall Semester 2003-U.S. Intelligence and World Affairs. This course will explore the dynamic issues and challenges that IC agencies are globally involved in. Students will have opportunities to listen to experts in the field and to question guest speakers from a cross section of agencies. Topics will focus on Homeland Defense, the European Union, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, Department of State, as well as Intelligence Community agencies.
