Trinity's New Students Interested in International Affairs

As the Class of 2007 arrives on campus, its members are bringing a demonstrated interest in international affairs with them. Certainly, we have this impression from contact and conversations with many of our new students even before they have arrived at Trinity College. We are anxious to learn more about those interests and how they developed so we can help develop them further. Come and visit us in Alumnae Hall so we can talk

This interest in international affairs comes at both a critical and an opportune moment. It is critical because the United States and its citizens cannot afford to live in a cocoon of isolation from global issues. It is opportune because Trinity's Programs in International Affairs has been on the 'fast track' over the past few years to provide opportunities both inside and beyond the classroom for our students to develop their knowledge and understanding of international issues and to become prepared to work on them once their studies are complete.
We urge all students to take advantage of these opportunities.
