Pablo Zúñiga, Senior Specialist, OAS Unit for the Promotion of Democracy (UPD)

Mr. Zúñiga is a lawyer. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Maryland (1983) and Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore (1986). Currently, Mr. Zúñiga holds the position of Senior Specialist in the Unit for the Promotion of Democracy (UPD) of the General Secretariat of the Organization of American States (OAS), where he coordinates the Program of Regional Training Courses for Young Leaders on Democratic Institutions, Values and Practices, as well as the OAS/Inter American Development Bank Training Program for Democratic Leaders (CALIDEM). He was previously the coordinator at headquarters of the OAS International Civilian Mission in Haiti (MICIVIH). Mr. Zúñiga is an adjunct professor at Trinity College, where he co-teaches, with Steven Griner, a class on Western Hemisphere Multilateral Issues (INS 301).
