Conference on Dominicans in America: Numbers, Status and Future

The Dominican Studies & Research Program, Dante B. Fascell North-South Center, Dominican Studies Institute, City College of New York and Programs in International Affairs at Trinity in collaboration with the Dominican American National Roundtable.

The first panel included the presentations of Max Castro of Dante B. Fascell North-South Center, John Logan, a professor at SUNY, Albany, and Elizabeth Martin of U.S. Census Bureau

The conference attracted over sixty participants.
Max Castro, Thomas Boswell and Ramona Hernandez entertained questions on the socio-economic status of Dominicans in the U.S.

Mr. Roberto Suro, Director of Pew Hispanic Center, offered comments on Dominican American migration issues.
