Moodle

In Spring 2009, Trinity has introduced Moodle, a dynamic course management product designed to facilitate teaching and learning excellence.

To log into Moodle, click  http://moodle.trinitydc.edu.

For a tutorial on using Moodle for faculty, click https://moodle.trinitydc.edu and log in using your Trinity email address and password.

For general information about Moodle and the global community using it, click http://moodle.org

   IQ.Web

Trinity students and faculty use IQ.Web to access  university and registration information.  

          

    Learning Objects Repositories

    • LoLa, Learning Objects, Learning Activities
      An exchange for facilitating the sharing of high-quality learning objects. It contains materials for use across the curriculum, with a particular focus on modules for Information Literacy.

    • i Lumina
      A digital library of sharable undergraduate teaching materials for chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, and computer science.

    • Merlot
      Find peer reviewed online teaching and learning materials. Share advice and expertise about education with expert colleagues.

    • Federal Government Resources for Educational Excellence 
      This contains numerous educational resources, which include teaching ideas,
      instructional activities, photographs, maps, audio files, digitized paintings, lesson plans.

    • FreeFoto.com
      This is one of several repositories that contain high-quality photographs for educational as well as commercial use.

    • Maricopa Learning Exchange
      This is a digital repository that contains more than 700 learning "packages" which include plans, ideas, samples, and resources.

    • Wisconsin Online Resource Center
      This digital repository contains more than 1,000 learning objects which are categorized for uses within certain higher education curricula. The image categories include business, general education, English as a Second Language, health, professional development, adult basic education, technical courseware.
