Description

The Management of Human Resources major prepares individuals to assume positions in the human resource function within business, government, and nonprofit organizations. Emphasis is placed on developing in students both a broad human resources perspective as well as some familiarity with the technical aspects of performing human resources and human resource programs. This program supports a major in Management of Human Resources in the School of Professional Studies. A minor is not offered.

Students electing this major select three courses (9 credits) from the human resource management concentration within the Master of Science in Administration (M.S.A.) graduate program, which will count toward partial fulfillment of the M.S.A. Organizational Management degree with a concentration in Human Resource Management.
