Provost Carlota Ocampo Discusses Psychology and Social Justice at the APA’s ‘I Am Psyched” National Tour and Exhibit

 
 

Provost and Associate Professor of Psychology Carlota Ocampo discussed psychology and social justice on a panel at the American Psychological Association’s “I am Psyched! Inspiring Histories, Inspiring Lives: Women of Color in Psychology,” event on, February 21, 2017.  An interactive, multi-media pop-up exhibit now on national tour, “I am Psyched” is a collaboration of the APA’s Women’s Programs Office, the Cummings Center for the History of Psychology, and Psychology’s Feminist Voices History Project.  “I am Psyched” educates on the contributions of women of color to psychology, and encourages women and girls of color to consider careers in social sciences.
