Adjunct Professor, Dr. Henry Johnson Appointed Interim Deputy State Superintendent and Chief Academic Officer

 
 
Trinity and the School of Education congratulates adjunct professor, Dr. Henry R. Johnson, Jr., on his appointment as the Interim Deputy State Superintendent/Chief Academic Officer at the Maryland State Department of Education. Since 2013, Dr. Johnson had served as the Assistant State Superintendent for Curriculum, Assessment, and Accountability. As Deputy State Superintendent for Teaching and Learning, he will direct the work of five MSDE divisions: Early Childhood Development; Special Education and Early Intervention Services; Curriculum, Assessment and Accountability: Career and College Readiness including Juvenile Services Education Schools; and Library Development and Services.
Dr. Henry Johnson, Jr. is a long-term adjunct professor in the Master of Science in Education Administration program and teaches Legal and Ethical Issues and Financial Resources and Management.
