Assessing Trinity 2000 - Approaching
Trinity 2010
Self-Study for Middle States Comprehensive Accreditation Review
February 3, 2006
Every ten years, Trinity participates in a comprehensive accreditation
review through the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
The first part of this process requires Trinity to prepare a Self-Study
examining many different parts of the institution. The Self-Study
is conducted according to the Middle States Characteristics of Excellence,
the standards for accreditation in this region.
A Steering Committee comprised of members of the faculty and administrative
staff prepare the parts of the Self-Study. Academic Vice President
Dr. Sue Blanshan and Associate Professor of Communication Dr. Brad
Mello co-chair the Self-Study.
Accreditation also expects campus-wide participation in the Self-Study
review. Accordingly, we have posted the following final report of Trinity's Self-Study on our website.
On April 2-5,
Trinity will host the Middle States visiting team, comprised of presidents,
provosts and faculty from other similarly-sized institutions.
