Accreditation

General Accreditation

Trinity is fully accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, and maintains this status through periodic review. The commission has consistently reaffirmed Trinity's accreditation since 1921, most recently in the spring of 2006.

  • Middle States Self-study Clearinghouse. This repository of data sets, assessment plans and reports is password-protected, and accessible only to Trinity faculty and staff.

School of Education Accreditation

The School of Education is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), including Trinity's teacher preparation programs, counseling programs, and educational administration programs.

All programs offered by the School of Education are also approved by the DC State Education Agency and meet requirements for state certification.
